  • Human influenza

Seasonal influenza evolves under relentless immune pressure, and understanding that process is what makes vaccine strain selection possible. Our work on human influenza spans the global migration of seasonal lineages, the temporal patterning of hemagglutinin glycosylation and the comparatively understudied evolution of neuraminidase.
